Zign Track

The affordable facial motion capture solution

Zign Track is a facial motion tracking application that can track an actor’s face with just one regular camera. With it’s low price and easy to use interface facial motion tracking can be done by anyone now!

1: Record
Record a video of your actor using a regular camera or a webcam of proper quality. Marking of facial features is done with simple label stickers or make-up. There are no special markers or infrared equipment required.

2: Track
Load your video in Zign Track and Track it. 3D movements are computed from a single video, using only one camera.
Zign Track handles head rotation, jaw/lip-syncing, eyebrows, eyelids sneer and cheek movements. Things like lip curling, tongue and eye movement can be added in your 3D animation application.

3: Export
Once tracked, you are ready to export your motion capture data to your 3D animation application. Zign Track exports to BVH, TRC, Poser pz2 and Animation:Master action files. Export options alow you to exaggerate and smooth movements, and more.
